Teaching daily living skills in schools is dependent upon the status of the student population in Special Education and recommendations according to their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). There are select groups of students in Special Education that can benefit from the application of activities that focus on daily living skills. These students most often have moderate to severe cognitive and/or physical disabilities that may effect the category of Special Education that they receive.
